In the heart of Manassas, Chili on Top, located at 9805 Liberia Ave, is changing the food scene by blending Mexican traditions with Asian fusion flavors. All dishes, including their popular ‘Urban Style’ tacos and burritos, are made fresh daily with high-quality ingredients and flavors. This restaurant has quickly become a standout destination for people looking for more than your average taco. This facility offers a wheelchair-accessible entrance, ample parking, indoor seating, restrooms, and another location in Woodbridge at 12531 Dillingham Square, ensuring a convenient and welcoming experience for all visitors.
The Manassas location features a self-serve kiosk that enhances the speed and efficiency of the ordering process, providing a convenient option for customers who appreciate quick service. The interior is thoughtfully designed with a modern, urban, casual aesthetic that strikes a balance with its vibrant and lively decor, creating an inviting atmosphere for all customers. In the dining area, you’ll find high-top bar stools positioned along a sleek counter, perfect for those who prefer a more casual dining experience while enjoying their meals. Additionally, there are standard wooden tables accompanied by industrial-style chairs, adding a touch of contemporary flair to the space. The combination of these elements not only fosters a relaxed and social environment but also reflects the dynamic spirit of the community and people it serves.
The most popular item is the Birria Ramen, which, according to Chili on Top: Manassas, is “authentic ramen noodles in a rich, savory bone broth infused with birria consomé, topped with birria beef, charred corn, onion, cilantro, and a lime wedge.”This menu item is $13.00, and I’d give it a 4/10. I did not personally like this dish because ramen is not my favorite, but this bowl had a lot of flavor, and I would recommend you try it. The Birria Egg Rolls are a great example of a fusion snack. Each roll is crispy and stuffed with juicy birria, melted cheese, black beans, corn, red pimento peppers, and an onion-cilantro mixture, and they are served with your choice of sauce. Priced at $4.75 each, I would rate them a 6/10. The meat is flavorful, and the fried exterior adds a satisfying crunch along with a hint of flavor.
While the Birria Ramen and tacos showcase this restaurant, the T.K.O. Bowl entrée highlights the Asian-Hispanic fusion. This menu item has a starting price of $12.50. It includes “seasoned rice with your choice of protein and sauce, with pre-mixed pickled radish & carrots, roasted red bell peppers, and caramelized red onion, with kimchi-lime, onions, cilantro, seared cheese, and chili pepper.” I’d give this item a 7.5/10. The chicken was my protein choice, well seasoned, and the salsa verde enhanced the flavor of the bowl. Side dishes include the Mandu Potstickers, which are tofu-filled and fried until golden brown with a price of $5.25 for 8 Potstickers, and the Street Corn Elote, which includes “whole corn on a stick glazed with special sauce, finished with cotija cheese and chili-lime seasoning” for a price of $5.00 for 1 Cob of Corn.
Some desserts include the Tres Leches cake, which is a “Mexican-style pound cake with 3 types of milk glazed over for a sweet finish.” This menu item is priced at $5.25, and I’d rate this item a 10/10. This dessert was perfect for me. I loved the texture and taste of the cake, and the milk glaze elevated the taste by a lot. Other items on the dessert menu include Churro de Crema, which is $3.50 per churro and includes “crispy fried churro with Bavarian cream filling and dusted with sweet cinnamon sprinkles,” and Red Velvet Cake, which is priced at $5.25.
Chili on Top distinguishes itself as a unique destination that bridges the gap between traditional Mexican street food and the latest fusion. Their commitment to providing the finest ingredients is reflected in every aspect, from their dining area to their menu. The restaurant offers a perfect dining experience that will appeal to anybody with an adventurous palate for food. I had an exceptional experience at Chili on Top, and I’m thrilled to give it a perfect rating of 10/10. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend that you visit. The food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. Their business hours are Monday–Thursday, 11 AM–9 PM, Friday–Saturday, 11 AM–10 PM, and they are closed on Sunday.

I like the honest review. Their “Churro de Crema” sound very appealing. I will be checking out this place soon and trying their deserts and some of their other items.

I probably wouldn’t eat this because I don’t like a lot of food like that. Chances are, I would eat the ramen with pretty much nothing on it.
