On January 19, 2026, we went to Bella Vita Italian Restaurant in Manassas, Virginia. We had both been to this restaurant before in the past, but decided to write a review on it for the sake of it. Briy’s mom, Andrea, also came with us. Bella Vita is located at 9675 Liberia Ave #109, Manassas, VA. The restaurant is open from 11 AM to 10 PM Monday through Saturday, and from 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM on Sunday.
As we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted by nice, dim lighting. The hostess at the front of the restaurant led us to our table, somewhat near the front of the restaurant, where we ordered drinks, followed by appetizers, and finally main courses. The seating was very comfortable, as it was a half booth half table. The waiters were very nice and professional, but somewhat slow from the time we placed our orders to the time we got our food. This restaurant could be used as a fancy dinner or a casual lunch, as it has many options.
The appetizers we got were bruschetta, mozzarella frita, and garlic bread. The Bruschetta has tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, basil, parmigiano, balsamic glaze, and crostini. Mozzarella Frita is just mozzarella sticks, bread with cheese in the middle.
The Bella Vita menu is very long and has a wide variety of items. It’s a traditional Italian menu, where the food names were written in Italian, which was expected. The portions are larger, so come with an empty stomach if you do go, or you can take the food home if you don’t finish it all. If you have room after your dinner, Bella Vita offers traditional Italian desserts like tiramisu and cannoli. Bella Vita is a slightly expensive place, with most main courses being in the $20 range each.
Briy’s mom, Andrea, got veal marsala, which contains mushrooms, marsala wine, veal, and noodles with an alfredo sauce on the side. She also got a house salad as a side.
Jackson’s Review of Bella Vita
I go to Bella Vita a lot with my family, and I like to try different things each time I go. I was very excited when we picked this restaurant to review because I knew I would get to eat great food while writing the article.
To drink, I got a ginger ale. When the appetizers came out, I really liked the Mozzarella Frita. It had a really strong flavor, with a cheese pull. I ate about 2 of these and took another one home. I’m a fan of almost anything cheese, as long as it isn’t spicy or something like cottage cheese. I didn’t really like the Bruschetta as I don’t like tomatoes unless they’re in a sauce or on a burger because of the slightly bitter taste to them. It was also really strong with balsamic vinegar, which I don’t care for. I also liked the garlic bread; it was hard on the outside and soft on the inside. To me, it was perfect, also because of its garlic and butter flavoring.
For the main course, I got a ‘Your Pasta, Your Way’ with penne noodles, pesto sauce (which usually has basil, garlic, pine nuts, hard cheese, and olive oil) and chicken. This was amazing in my opinion. I always love pasta, and I usually prefer a pesto sauce over a tomato sauce, and the oily texture made the pasta really good. I also love chicken in general, so adding it to the pasta made it taste even better.
I believe that you should try Bella Vita if you like Italian food. They have a large menu, so there’s something for everyone. They have great pasta and appetizers that are appealing to a large group of people. Overall, I would rate this experience a 9/10, because the food was so good, but the bruschetta prevented me from giving it a 10/10.
Briy’s Review of Bella Vita
I always enjoy Bella Vita because of their amazing food and great service. So, naturally, when we were able to go, I was very excited.
To drink, I got Sprite. For appetizers, I really enjoyed both options because I love Bruschetta. I hate tomatoes except if it is a sauce, but Bruschetta is one of my favorite appetizers. I also loved the Mozzarella Frita because of the cheese pull and how fresh it is.
For my entree, I got the Rigatoni Di Carne (ragú, meatballs, sausage, mozzarella, and tomato sauce) without meatballs because I do not enjoy ground beef. The sauce had meat in it, which I did not realize, and I didn’t enjoy it, but the sauce masked it. I ate only a little because I had already eaten a bunch of Bruschetta and drank a bunch of Sprite. I also really enjoyed the garlic bread, but I always love garlic bread because… it’s bread and garlic.
Overall, I think this is an amazing restaurant to go to, and more people should go because everyone there is very nice, and I do not believe you would be unsatisfied. I would give this restaurant an 8/10.

I liked how you added both views, which made the review more interesting. The details about the dishes and personal opinions added a nice touch, and the honest descriptions made the review feel more personal.

I absolutely LOVE Bella Vita! I just recently found out they completely remodled the place and it looks very elegant now! My favorite thing to get from there is the Penne Alla Vodka, it’s got a bit of spice and I like to add chicken to add some protein to it. They also have the BEST bread I’ve ever had from a resturant, it’s got butter, parmesan, garlic, it’s beautiful.

I really enjoyed reading your review of Bella Vita because I love finding good places to eat in Manassas. In my experience, Italian food is always the best choice for a big dinner, especially when there is fresh garlic and mozzarella sticks! It was helpful to hear about the large portions and the different pasta options you tried.

Bella Vita sounds like a must try. This article gave me a craving for some Italian food. The honesty from both journalists was refreshing and very helpful.

That sounds like a 10/10 to me. I also think it is very smart that they took their leftovers home in a box, we should never waste good food. maybe I will go there one day
