Students are really busy every week because of school. Even so, students take advantage of the weekend and school breaks and do fun and unique activities with their friends for fall.
During fall, watching scary movies, baking, and going on walks are trending with teens because fall is the time when people start thinking about Halloween and anything spooky.
Kimberly Fuentes, a freshman at OHS said “My top three activities I would like to do with my friends during the fall are go on walks, bake, and watch movies.  I enjoy going on walks with my friends, especially during the fall. I have never baked but I would love to try something new and experience it with my friends. Obviously, during fall there are scary movies, I already love movies but it would be much better with friends.”
Now that fall is here and the weather is cooler some students just want to stay in their homes and watch some scary movies with their friends while make some gingerbread houses in the comfort of their own homes.
Elise Evans, a freshman at OHS said “Some fun indoor activities that come to mind for me would be making hot cocoa and making gingerbread houses while watching some scary Halloween movies while wearing face masks .”
Students are always on their phones and miss out on fun experiences with their friends. But there are activities to do off your phone so everyone is all together and has a fun time. It would be a great memory
Elise Evans, a freshman at OHS, said “I would love to do this with my friend because it would be entirely off phones and everyone would be spending time with each other and having a great experience.”
Fall is here so of course people want to start doing the traditional activities like pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and corn mazes with their friends and take cute pictures.
Jacqueline Valdez, a freshman at OHS “I would like to do pumpkin patch, haunted house, corn maze events because they are really fun and it would be a very good memory to have with my friends for fall and we can take pictures.”
Pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and corn mazes are starting to get trendy among teens now because fall is coming up. Why are these activities becoming trendy? Well, they are becoming trendy because a lot of people especially teens have become fans of fall and the fall weather so people want to do traditional activities for the fall.
Jacqueline Valdez, a freshman at OHS “The pumpkin patch is fun because you can go pick out a pumpkin with your friends and carve them, the haunted house is fun when you go with your closest friends as a big group because you can break up into two groups and see who finishes the haunted house first, and the corn maze is fun because it has many twists and turns and dead ends and it’s fun to race with your friends to see comes out first.”
For fall everyone has at least heard of one fall event like the jubilee or any other event. Going to a movie theater instead of staying home and watching it on an app would be a nice experience and then going to eat dinner after the movie.
Easton Peterson, a freshman at OHS said “ I would love to go to a movie theater and watch a scary movie with my friends and then eat dinner at wing-stop, I would also want to go to the jubilee event with my friend.  I would love to go to the Cox Farm with friends and carve pumpkins while drinking hot cocoa.”

I don’t normally do anything with my friends in the fall. If we do we watch horror movies and order food.

I have never really celebrated fall as I was born in a country were its summer all year round but this year it will be my first time celebrating it! I have been here for 7 years but I’m finally old enough to start celebrating. I even get to celebrate Halloween this year!

I love to watch slasher movies such as Scream, Friday the 13th and Carrie. Horror movies are one of my favorite things to do during the fall time because of Halloween.

I love fall because it’s pretty to see all the leaves turn into different colors. I also love Old Town during the fall because of it’s events.

I love to carve pumpkins and get candy during Halloween of fall. I like Thanksgiving during fall too because its nice to spend time with family. I like fall because its not too cold or hot but I prefer winter because winter is always cold and sometimes there’s snow

I absolutely LOVE fall so much! It matches with the ‘Downtown’ style and I’m into those! I don’t have any friends in this school but I do have 2 others close by, we don’t necessarily hang out every day since all 3 of us go to different schools and have to do our own thing but my favorite activities would be taking pictures of how fall makes the outside world beautiful, baking brownies or cookies, possibly even cupcakes, and watching movies!

I really like fall because of how it’s not too cold or hot. It’s perfect in between temperatures. I love to walk along my sidewalk and admire the beautiful, bright, orange, lively leaves that have grown on the trees along my sidewalk! I could jump on the pile of leaves and feel like a kid again outside of high school. It’s really pretty to look at and it’s probably one of my favorite seasons out of all of them! I mean sure, summer time is the time that students get out of school but the overwhelming heat is way too unbearable. I think fall is way better than summer, but that’s just my personal opinion!
