Suly Ramirez says, “I would like to visit Guatemala because of family, and I want to go where they call the Maya.” This shows that traveling can help people feel closer to their culture. Guatemala has a lot of Maya history, so going there could help someone learn more about their family’s background. Traveling for family reasons can be really important and meaningful.

Other people want to travel just to have fun and relax. Rosa Brizuela says, “I would like to visit Puerto Rico. I want to go to the beaches with a friend someday.”Beaches are a fun place to go because you can relax and enjoy the view. Rosa also talks about a place she has already been to. She says, “I’ve been to El Salvador when I was around 9 years old.” She remembers things she liked and didn’t like about the trip. “Something I liked was how Pollo Campero had more flavor than here in the U.S. Something I didn’t like was all the mosquitoes.”

Some people want to travel because of what they see on shows. Eymi Garcia says, “One place I’ve always wanted to visit is Paris. The reason is that it’s beautiful and reminds me of Miraculous Ladybug.” She also says, “If I could go alone, I would, but I plan to go with someone.” This shows that traveling can be fun alone, but it’s also better with someone else.

Eymi also talks about places she has traveled to before. She says, “Yes, I’ve traveled before. I’ve been to Arkansas, New York, and Delaware.” She explains how old she was when she went, which shows she has been traveling since she was younger.

So overall, wanting to travel is something many people want to do. Whether it’s to visit family, relax on a beach, or go to a city you’ve only seen in a show, traveling helps people learn and make a lot of memories.
