The Black Heritage Appreciation club is coming soon to OHS!
The sponsor is Ms. Wallace. When the club starts, there will be student officer positions.
BHAC is for anyone who has an appreciation of African American culture. Members will take opportunities to have open conversations about African American culture, participate in field trips to events that are relative to African American history and culture, participate in community service, and organize events that celebrate the diversity of African Americans and people from the African diaspora.
“This year this club is planning to do community service, plan black history month and highlight black art,” explained Wallace.
