Some people love shoes, others don’t really care for them. Personally, I love shoes, and if I could, I would have all the shoes in the world right now. I’m a big shoe person, but not all people think running shoes and regular shoes are the same, and some people think that shoes are just something you need to have. But others need to have the latest pair of shoes or need to have the newest shoes that came out.Â
”I’m a big shoe person. I love shoes. I feel like when you look at someone, you look at their shoes first, but I’m a big shoe head. I love them, I feel like you always make an outfit with your shoes. I have to make sure the shoes match, because if they don’t match, then I won’t look good,” said Lamiyah Rice.Â
How many shoes do you own that you wear? ”I own like 20 pairs of shoes, and some of them I wear like one or two times. And that’s because I made a shoe wall of the shoes I don’t wear,” explained Lamiyah.
Students at Osbourn love a variety of shoe brands and styles. ” I have a favorite shoe, I love any type of Air Jordan 4, but they are not cheap, but they look really good,” said Lamiyah.
”I love the Adidas Women’s Adizero Evo SL. They feel so good when you are running. I think everyone needs a pair of those. I also want to get the Air Jordan 6 Retro Low. They look really nice, I have been waiting on them, but they have not dropped yet. But I will be the first to get them when they do drop,” said Avana Diaz.Â
“My favorite shoe brand is New Balance. I love them; you can wear them with everything. They are really nice to wear, they don’t hurt your feet, and they last you a long time. and I have like 12 pairs of them,” said Avana.
“Matching shoes with an outfit involves coordinating colors, matching the formality of the clothes, and balancing the visual weight of the look. Key strategies include wearing neutral shoes (black, white, nude) for versatility, matching shoe color to a specific part of the outfit or accessory, or using complementary colors for a bold look,” said Avana.Â
‘’I love colorful shoes. I don’t go for a casual look. I like it when my shoes are the pop of the outfit, it gives something more than boring, and when I get the more colorful shoes, no one really has them. It’s not a lot of people in high school that like colorful shoes, so that’s why I go for more color,” explained Alejandro Hernandez Santos.

For shoes, I really like New Balance too. They’re super comfortable and cushiony on the inside, and they don’t make your feet ache like some other sneakers.

My pairs of shoes are kind of mixed up, I have some Nike’s and some Adidas shoes. I honestly put on either shoes depending on the day I’m feeling good.

I don’t care much about shoes, but I can agree that I like to try to match my outfit to the shoes I wear. This article made me discover new shoes.

I have about 3 pairs of shoes that I rotate for school and they affect my outfit choices because I don’t want to favor one. This was an interesting article that addressed a question I’ve definitely pondered before. I love nice chunky shoes that add a little flair to my look.

My favorite part was when Lamiyah said she has a shoe wall. That is so cool. I have sneakers too. I like red and black shoes because red and black are my favorite color.

This article is so relatable because I also believe that shoes can completely make or break an outfit. I personally own about ten pairs of sneakers, and like Avana, I prioritize New Balances because they perfectly balance comfort with a clean, classic look. I always make sure my shoes match at least one color on my short to keep the whole vibe coordinated!
