Winter break is coming soon and with that spirit week, winter pep rally, and Christmas.
Spirit week was held from December 16th to 20th, the first day of spirit week was to dress up as your favorite holiday movie character, the second day was to wear an ugly sweater, the third day was “JC Penney Photo Day” which was to dress up with your friends and take photos, the fourth day was Polar Express day where you had to wear pajamas, and the last day was North Pole day, when you had to wear your grade color. My favorite day of the spirit day was the JC Penny photo day; it was fun watching people match with their friends to take the picture I did it with one of my friends. I like how the school provided the picture for the JC Penny day and how they always make the spirit weeks fun for everyone.
Aiden Lindenfelser said, “I got this sweater to be funny, but I don’t think that my sweater is the ugliest.”
Elise Evans said,” I wore an ugly sweater to take part in the spirit week, but I thought I got the dates wrong cause not a lot of people were wearing an ugly sweater.”
Easton Peterson said,” I really like the photo booth idea I had so much fun taking pictures with my friends.”
I loved the pep rally as well. My favorite part of it was definitely the musical chairs. The first pep rally started at 9:48 and ended at 10:43 and the second pep rally started at 11:06 and ended at 11:46. The first activity in the pep rally was a unified P.E. basketball game. Then the cheerleaders did a performance. This was followed by musical chairs, a relay, and a dance routine.
Two pep rallies were held back-to-back so the gym would not be too crowded.
Ms. Hamrock said, ” I liked the cheering and the school spirit and how everyone had fun watching it.”
Janail Bullock said,” I liked the musical chairs because it was fun seeing people compete to win the prize.”
Soller Ellis said, ” I think the games are fun and everyone should do it once in a lifetime.”
Eggy the Eagle said,” It’s hard to be in the suit all of the time because it’s hot and I sweat a lot in the suit.”
The cheer performance was really amazing I liked the chants, the stunting, and the dance that they did was fun to watch.
Maliya Trammell said,” I liked the first set of people for the pep rally because the second group was not as lively.”
Graidyas Rivera, one of the cheerleaders said, “I did like that the pep rally was inside because it would have been too cold to perform outside. Inside it is warm and everyone sits still inside.”
Easton Peterson said,” I like this pep rally games and it was worth the time.”
Elise Evans said, “I wanted to participate in a game but my friend didn’t wanna come with me so I didn’t go, and now I regret it because the games seemed so fun.”
