Many people basically enjoy using perfume to enhance their smell and to always smell fresh and clean with an aroma they like. Preferences in fragrances vary, from delicate and fruity to robust and masculine. People mostly have different tastes and styles when it really comes to scents, some believe high-end perfumes offer a better experience while others value a pleasant aroma regardless of price.

Brands like Bath and Body Works and Victoria’s Secret really offer a fairly wide range of fragrances. Each brand definitely offers unique scents that allow people to kind of express their personalities. 9th grader Camilla Mendoza said “The brand I use mostly Is Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works.”

Maya, a 9th grader said “I use Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works.”

Keith Tate 9th grade said “I like shopping at Macy’s for cologne.”

Different people have different preferences when it comes to perfume. Some prefer strong scents, while others prefer soft smells. Different people have varying opinions on smells. Some people may enjoy sweet and floral scents, while others prefer fruity, or even bitter smells. Keith Tate said “I prefer a scent that isn’t too strong because strong scents usually give me a headache.”

Maya said “I like a scent that is strong and that will last all day.”

9th grader Michelle McDonell said “I prefer soft scents because strong smells give me a headache and make me get nauseous.”

Some people have a preference for perfumes based on their price point. A common belief among many people is that the more expensive a perfume is, the longer it will last and the better it will smell. On the other hand, there are also many people who do not think that is true. They believe that any perfume can be good as long as they personally enjoy its scent.

For some, the primary consideration is finding a fragrance that smells pleasant, regardless of its affordability. Therefore, many people opt for more budget-friendly options, as long as it achieves the desired effect of keeping them smelling nice and feeling confident throughout the day. Maya said “I usually spend about 30 dollars on perfume. I like a scent that is strong and that will last.”

Keith Tate said “I spend about 20 dollars on a scent, but if I wanna be fancy, I’ll buy something expensive. The most I’m willing to waste on an expensive perfume is 50 dollars.”

Michelle McDonell said “The most I’ll spend on a body mist is 20 dollars because price doesn’t mean it doesn’t work the same. Expensive and cheap perfumes both do the same thing.”

It seems like the most popular perfume brand is Bath and Body Works because it is cheap and affordable and they have a variety of scents of all kinds, and the most people would spend on perfume is about $50 to $30 dollars. People also seem to like scents that do not smell too strong but last a long time.
