The National Honor Society is sponsored by Mr. Jagadev, who also teaches Intro to Engineering at OHS. The president of the club is Radwan Khan and the vice president is Edward Zapeda. Joining the club requires you to have a 3.5 or higher GPA and good attendance. You must also be a junior or senior in order to join. This club brings together active and honorable students who will volunteer for their community, participate in blood drives, help with tutoring, and much more! One of the bigger projects they’re going to be working on this year is the blood drive.

The NHS is seen as an honor club that many colleges and jobs are interested in seeing on college applications. “This club helps students enhance their leadership potential and get involved more in their community. We have specific service activities with the community where all the students come together and use their best leadership skills and efforts,” said Mr. Jagadev, the club sponsor.
