This month, Positive Change Ambassadors (PCA) facilitated “Stickies for Stickers.” PCA involved the student body by spending lunches in the cafeteria surveying students on their New Year’s Resolutions. Students received an inspirational sticker in exchange for their New Year’s Resolution written on a sticky (note). These sticky notes were united in a red and white “candy cane” hanging at the cafeteria entrance.

PCA also worked to inform their peers of major holidays that are practiced all around Osbourn. Through 8 different posters, PCA was able to showcase Diwali, Lunar (Chinese) New Year, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, and Holi. A special thank you goes to Justin Diaz, Marianna (Mary) Marroquin, Genesis Anariba, Maria Avila Tapia, and Amaya Hall for putting these infographics together. PCA hopes these posters will help people be more informed of other people’s perspectives and cultures!
