Valentine’s Day is here! Are you ready for Valentine’s Day this year? Valentine’s can be a fun time of the year to express your love to the people you love. Let’s see what OHS students have to say about this holiday!

“I think celebrating Valentine’s Day means showing love to the people you love. It is a time to express your love for them,” said Liz Keisy.

For some, Valentine’s Day is the time of the year when you give cute gifts to those you love. “Valentine’s Day is a time of the year when you can gift your friends or your boyfriend/girlfriend,” said Kimberly Miranda. 

Valentine’s can also be about celebrating with your friends if you don’t have a boyfriend or girlfriend. “For Valentine’s Day, I don’t have big plans. I’m just going to hang out with some friends,” said Miranda.

“This year I’m celebrating Valentine’s Day with my best friends,” said Liz.

Valentine’s Day is a good day to hang out with your friends and have a good time together and bond with each other. 

Some people do have a special someone to celebrate with on  Valentine’s Day. “This year I do have a Valentine! It is Matthew Navarrete,” said Neptune Reyes. It’s cute when people have a partner they can share their love with and show them how much they actually care about them. 

“When I give people gifts, I usually give them their favorite snacks and something they like or that they can use every day,” explained Neptune. “I don’t usually give out valentine gifts but this year motivated me to give out gifts for my friends,” she added.

Hopefully all OHS students have a great time on Valentine’s Day and enjoy it as much as possible!
