Most students at Osbourn High School enjoy fast food, but why do they love fast food? Do people love fast food because of the taste, or maybe the smell, or maybe it is the cheap affordable prices that makes fast food.  According to Google, the most popular fast food restaurant in the world is McDonald’s serving over  69 million people every day, but do Osbourn students have the same opinion or think differently? What is your favorite fast food place?

“My favorite fast food place is Chick-fil-A”, said Vivian Nguyen.  This opinion on Chick-fil-A shows us that people have different opinions of the best fast food.  “My order at Chick-fil-A is a spicy deluxe chicken sandwich with no pickles a large fry, a large lemonade with zesty buffalo sauce and ranch”, said Vivian Nguyen.  The sauces you order at fast food can vary, a very popular sauce and one of my favorites is Chick-fil-A sauce which is tangy and delicious and other people think so too. “My favorite sauce at Chick-fil-A is the Chick-fil-A sauce,” said Henok Emun.

Chick-fil-A is not the only enjoyed fast food place, Chipotle is also a very popular fast food place, where you can pick what food you want in either a taco, a bowl, or a burrito.  “My favorite fast food place is Chipotle because I like chicken,” said Daviana Vidal. Chipotle has many meat options including, chicken, beef and for vegetarians you can get just get vegetables. “I order a burrito with white rice, corn, lettuce, sour cream, steak, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese,” said Kayla Rich.   There are endless options for you to enjoy at Chipotle.

Out of all of our interviews, Chipotle and, Chick-fil-A were the two most popular answers for your favorite fast food places, but a few other places were also popular. Wingstop was another popular option. “My Wingstop order is 6 boneless wings original hot with fries and a Powerade with no ice,” said Kimberly Martinez.

Even though these fast food placed might taste good, there still might be some problems with them, “Wingstop takes a long time to finish your order, so you should order ahead,” said Kimberly Martinez.

There are lots of different fast food restaurants. Some like the basic and more convenient and popular, others like different places maybe you have never heard of before. Perhaps the most common and basic choice is McDonald’s. They definitely do not have the best burgers or anything fancy, but they always come in handy after a long day  or if you are  just looking for a snack.  “My favorite fast food place is McDonald’s. I love the fries and the 10 piece chicken nugget meal. The worst thing on the menu is the Filet O’Fish and the most annoying thing about them is sometimes the service is not great. They sometimes forget food and sometimes are even a little rude,” said Izzi Hoover.

One fast food place seems to care about the customers and makes delicious food that is always at a high demand- Chick-fil-A! Chick-fil-A is the place where you can a great chicken sandwich and so much more. They have fries, breakfast sandwiches, milkshakes, and so much more. “My favorite fast food restaurant  is probably Chick-fil-A. I love the spicy chicken sandwich and fries with a nice ice cold lemonade. The worst thing on the menu is probably the salads, but I love everything about the place: the workers are really nice and actually like their job,” said Edgar Martinez.

So a lot of us have big families or maybe just eat a lot of food, meaning that it is smarter to something family sized. Popeye’s has many family sized portioned meals and options, but it is definitely a good option if you are just eating something quick yourself. “My favorite fast food place is most likely Popeye’s. My favorite thing from there is the fries and the biscuits and obviously the chicken! Their food is amazing and I love it there and it is a place that I would recommend,” said  Amaya Brooks.

Everyone loves Chinese food, but sometimes it can get expensive, so that is where Panda Express comes in! They make it fast, cheap, and very convenient and also give you many options to choose from. “My favorite fast food restaurant is Panda Express my usual order is white rice, orange chicken, and honey walnut shrimp, but sometimes I switch it up and get the teriyaki chicken. The worst things on the menu, in my opinion, are the vegetables, but one thing I would highly recommend is the honey walnut shrimp. And one thing that Panda Express needs to work on is just adding more options to what you can get, but other than that, the place is really good,”  said Elijah White.

Out of all of the fast food places, we concluded that places where the the food is good and the sauces are great, and the workers are kind and considerate are the most popular amongst OHS students.
