Traditionally, football tailgates include grilling and cooking out of the trunks of cars. The cars are parked outside of the stadium where the game is going to be played. However, the Eagle Tailgate was very different from the standard.

The main attraction to the tailgate was the multitude of booths hosted by OHS clubs and organizations. Many served freebies, snacks, and desserts. Another big part of the event was the food trucks.
