September 19th was the first day of our homecoming spirit week. We started off the week dressing like Minions, in honor of Minions: The Rise of Gru coming out over the summer. Although there wasn’t an overwhelming amount of participation, the spirited students that put forth effort did a great job. And, as the results poured in, the seniors took the first win for spirit week, for being the class to wear the most Minion-like apparel. Overall the creativity from those who took part in Minion day was remarkable, some wore yellow shirts, overalls, or even face paint. It all helped exhibit a promising start to our annual homecoming spirit week.
