The Notebook movie is an old but good movie to watch. Some of the actors in the movie were Ryan Gosling who played Young Noah Calhoun, James Garner as old Noah Calhoun, Rachel McAdams who played Young Allie Hamilton, Gena Rowlands who played old Allie Hamilton, Sam Shepard played Frank Calhoun Noah’s dad, and  Joan Allen plays Anne Hamilton Allies mom. The Notebook was released in 2004. The Notebook was filmed almost entirely on location in South Carolina.

In the movie, Noah first meets Allie when she is in town with her family. She went to the fair with Sarah and her friends and Noah was there with his friend. His friend said hi to Sarah, one of their childhood friends, and saw Allie. After that, he couldn’t keep his eyes off her. Allie gets off the ride he asks Allie if she wants to dance and Allie says no. Noah asks why and she responds that it is because she doesn’t want to.

Allie’s boyfriend got in the middle of the conversation and Allie walked off. Noah had fallen so deeply in love with Allie that he climbed on the Ferris wheel and sat in the middle of Allie and her boyfriend. Noah started hanging on the Ferris wheel and let go of one of his hands because Allie said no to going out with him.

Once Allie sees he let go she says yes so he won’t fall. 

After that Allie’s friend tricks her into going to the movies with her and Noah is there with his friends. While they are inside the movie, Noah moves from his seat and sits next to Allie. They start talking, and after the movie, they tell their friends they are going to walk.

After this, they were always doing everything together. Sometimes they would argue, but because their love was so strong they never ended the relationship. They spent every day together and never left each other’s side. When Allie’s dad found out, he asked her to bring Noah to the house. 

When Noah went to meet Allie’s parents at her house, Allie’s dad and mom didn’t really approve of  Noah and  Allie’s relationship.

Allie and Noah live their lives and move on and years later, they find each other again.

Allie follows her heart and returns to Noah and they fall in love all over again, but this time they stay together and get married and live happily ever after in the nice big white house that Allie dreamed about.

This movie is trying to show that even though something doesn’t go right the first time doesn’t mean you can’t get it right and be happy the second time.

I personally think The Notebook movie is enjoyable, but my three favorite parts of the movie are when Noah built Allie’s dream home because it shows how much Noah really loved her.

My second favorite part of the movie is when Allie gets tricked into the date with Noah and she ends up actually liking him because that shows that even if you might not have interest in someone at first, you might have interest in someone later after you get to know them.

My third favorite part of the movie is when they get back together because it shows that even though you might stop seeing someone, it doesn’t mean the feelings go away.
