There are many interesting opinions about acrylic nails, and many’s income depends on it. Although nails have many benefits they can also have flaws. Acrylic nails have been a popular choice for nail enthusiasts for decades, offering a durable and stylish alternative to natural nails. Acrylic nails have so many different kinds of styles and designs even if you’re looking for extra length drama or flair there are so many styles. There are a lot of different opinions on whether they are good or bad for your natural nails. Mackensi Hernadez said, “I like how you can embrace your personality and bring your ideas to life on your nails.” 

 Acrylic nails are incredibly resilient and benefit people in different ways. Stacy Rivera said, “Keep on getting them ’cause they are a really good confidence boost.” Even though acrylic nails are strong from the mixture of liquid monomers added in the process, they break easily when they hit something hard. Mackensi said, “Whenever my acrylic nails break they break my natural nails too.” 

Nails need to be taken care of as well if you want them to last more than two weeks. Wash your hands regularly and dry them thoroughly or they get dirty and stuff starts getting under them. Pamela Quiroz said, “Sometimes when I’m doing my makeup and makeup gets under my nails or when random things end up under my nails it is hard to clean them after so it is kinda hard.” 

People live off doing nails as a job, some even go to school for it. Pamela said, “I do see myself doing nails in the future and opening my own nail business as a part-time.” Even though some people might want to do it as a job, some have different opinions. Mackensi said, “I don’t really see myself doing nails in the future, I would still get them done though.” 

Many people have personal nail techs that they go to every time they get their nails done. Melanie Gonzales said, “I go to Brandi. She’s really good. I definitely recommend her. I really trust her with my nails. Her Insta is nailsbyb_.” Other people like to have different opinions and go to different places. Angie Hernadez said, “I don’t have a personal nail tech, I really get them done anywhere.” 

Acrylic nail prices can cost anywhere from $30 to $60 per design, depending on the complexity of the design and the number of colors used. Typically, long acrylic nails cost more than short acrylic nails simply because there’s more room for the acrylic to cover. Nonetheless, the cost can vary widely depending on several factors, including the salon’s location, the nail technician’s expertise, and the complexity of the desired nail design. There are a lot of different opinions about nail prices. Angie  said, “Well about the nail prices I think sometimes they go way over the normal price but mostly it depends on the length.”  Pamela said, “ I think that nail prices are way too expensive for no reason, but if you get your nails done by unlisted nail tech it is better because they never cut you and they can’t ask you for a lot of money.”
