Friday, May 3 was a day of celebration for some seniors, as Osbourn High School’s AVID program hosted their annual College Decision Day event. The event was held in the library from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Students were invited to sign up to attend the event, which featured snacks, photo opportunities, guest speakers, and general celebration. A few seniors shared their decisions with us:
“I really liked the environment the Randolph Macon University and it is a pretty small school, so it will feel like home,” said Claudia Flores
“Univeristy of Arizona offered me a full-ride scholarship. I believe the experience will be great since it is known as a fun party school and it will be a combination of education and fun,” said Kaya Graham.
