Raising Cane’s is a fast food chain founded in 1996. Ever since then, the restaurant has been popular all over the country for its food. Raising Cane’s, has opened recently in Manassas and everyone is talking about it. What do Osbourn students think about Raising Cane’s opening? Are they going to try it? And if they tried it, how was it, and what was their favorite part about it? Let’s find out!
“I’m very excited for Raising Cane’s to open. I’m excited to try the sauce and the chicken tenders,” said Thomas Wright. Many students have heard of Raising Cane’s through social media. They are famous for their chicken tenders and their sauce. “I can’t wait to try Raising Cane’s! I heard the bread and the Cane’s Sauce were some of their best items,” said Edgar Ortiz Martinez. Another item at Raising Cane’s that is very popular is their bread/toast. People have raved about the bread throughout the country on social media.
Raising Cane’s opened in Manassas on April 9th, and students at Osbourn have all had different opinions on it. “I’m not sure if I want to go to Raising Cane’s yet because of how long the lines are, but when the lines get shorter, I want to try it,” said Graidys Rivera.
Because of how recently Cane’s opened at this location, the lines, especially on the opening days, are huge. “The worst part about Raising Cane’s was that I had to wait 30 minutes in line just to get my food because so many people wanted to try it, but the food made the wait worth it,” said Joana Flores. This is yet another example of how busy the Raising Cane’s lines were on the opening days.
“My favorite part about Raising Cane’s was the chicken tenders, which where crispy and fresh,” said Joseph Lara. Raising Cane’s is known for their chicken tenders, so the fact that they’re fresh and crispy according to this person is good to know because that is how most people like their chicken tenders.
“The iced tea from Raising Cane’s is my favorite menu item because of how much I love iced tea and because of the type of ice that they use in their drinks,” said Joshua Jala-Guinto. Most people talk about how good the chicken, or bread, or the sauce is, but no one ever mentions the drinks and it’s good for customers that their drinks and ice are superior.
“I enjoyed Raising Cane’s food, but I think it is overall overrated. But the bread was a 10/10 and the chicken tenders were crispy and juicy,” said Vivian Nguyen. Even though it was very good, people over social media made it seem like Raising Cane’s is life-changing, even though it is not.
Finally, my opinion on Cane’s is that it is really tasty. The fries where surprisingly better than I expected, and the drinks, chicken, and bread were all delicious. But, I think the sauce was definitely overrated. Even though it was good, I think the large quantities of sauce that people are getting are too much. Overall, Cane’s was a good experience, especially since the lines died down. The food overall is very tasty and I recommend trying it out for yourself!
The Raising Cane’s in Manassas is located at 9501 Liberia Avenue.

I tried the bread and chicken. In my opinion they were delicious, however, the restraurant menu didn’t have alot of variation items to pick from. It could benefit from adding a few other items to the menu.

i tried raising canes expecting it to be delicious, but i ended up being disappointed. the bread was really good but the chicken tasted dry and had no taste. i tried dipping it in the sauce and it didn’t really help the taste that much. raising canes was definitely overhyped imo and just reminds me of an average, mid-tier fast food resturant.

When I tried canes, I was expecting more. The chicken and bread was good but the sauce was very salty and didn’t have much of a good taste. The fries were alright. Overall it was okay but very overrated

I haven’t tried it yet but it seems overhyped imo, the food looks good but it doesn’t look out of the ordinary and average, I might try it with a friend one day.

I just went to Raising Canes the first day that they were letting people in. I tried the chicken tender with the bread, fries, sauce, and a drink. I was really exited because of the hype, but when i tried it it was like any chicken tender. The food was really good and the bread was super soft and squishy, but I definitely agree that the sauce was very overrated. Overall the food was good though and i would probably recommend it. I most likely will go back.

I haven’t tried it yet but off the look of it, it’s kinda overhyped and the line is way too long just for chicken tenders and bread but watching people eat it and say it’s good i may have to try it out myself

I wanted to try Raising Cane’s but the line was too long and I didn’t know if the hype was worth it. After reading this, it seems overall good. I plan on eating it soon or maybe tonight.

My brother recently bought some Cane’s for us to try, and he also said the lines were really long. The food wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was good. I didn’t get to try the bread, but I hope I do soon!

I remember having canes about two years ago and it tasted like any other fast food place. I haven’t been able to try it recently but I want to. My taste will probably change and I’ll like it more.

The sauce is super overrated but dude, the chicken sandwich is so good. The bread was super soft and it worked well with the chicken. It really didn’t take that long to get the food; me and my boyfriend went on day one. I’d love to go again; it’s really good. The hype is well deserved; my only problem was the sauce but it was really good on the chicken sandwich.

All of the food looks delicious, and I love chicken. I want to go, but me and my family have decided to wait until the hype lies down. I’m going to go eventually.

I went there with one of my bsf eric, and we loved it soooo much. the tenders were so crispy and juicey and the bread was so fluffy and tasted sorta like garlic bread sticks yk? but we both agreed that the sauce was overrated, atleast for us. not to mention they had our order ready within less than 5 min?!?!? like the second we sat down they had it ready for us.
