As Osbourn High School graduation nears, seniors face a big decision: what comes next? This moment is both thrilling and important. What options do many seniors consider after they graduate? Some go on to college, some start working, others volunteer, and a few take a break before deciding. The world is full of opportunities for these soon-to-be graduates, and we’ll explore the different paths they can take after tossing their graduation caps in the air.
For some of Osbourn’s seniors, the adventure continues as they prepare to step onto the college campus. These eager students are gearing up for the next chapter of their educational journey after receiving their high school diplomas. College life awaits, promising a world of learning, growth, and new experiences as they take this exciting step toward their futures so here are a few students who are taking that path.s
“I plan on moving back to Detroit and Wayne State University. I wanna go to Wayne State because it’s a family college and study dental. I plan on getting there with money and scholarships,” aid Gabby Thigpen.
“I wanna work in real estate because I can gain a lot of money, skills, and knowledge. The skills and knowledge I can gain are marketing and talking to people very persuasively. I’m taking marketing and I plan on going to George Mason University to study real estate,” said Devan Wilson
“I plan on going to a local college or trade school, I want to pursue plumbing. I plan to ask advice from people who are already in the industry and going to school for it” said Brian Lemus.
“I wanna be a game developer because I’ve always been interested since I was a kid and I love playing games. I plan on going to a local college to stay close to home and I also plan on taking editing classes and I.T classes for the learning experience,” said Elijah White.
Some high school seniors have big dreams of becoming entrepreneurs. They hope to actually start their own businesses after graduation. Their ambition and determination are driving them to pursue exciting entrepreneurial ventures.
“I want to do cybersecurity because I want to start my own business and make good money. I plan on going to college like George Mason University and have a company to sponsor my college, so I’ll work there for a couple of years and have the experience to start my own company,” said Nana Amoateng (Mooda).
“I want to start my own business and have it all over Virginia because my brother inspired me to be myself and to represent myself by the way I look,” said Jaiden Borba.

after high school I wanna go to trade school so I can become a mechanic. I personally believe there is no reason to stress about the future whatever happens happens.

i cant imagine the stress of starting your own independent life while still figuring things out, but gl to all the seniors that starting their life after high school
