OHS Robotics Team Qualifies for FIRST Chesapeake District Championship
Osbourn Robotics Team 1895, Lambda Corps, attended the FIRST Chesapeake District Timonium MD Event this past weekend. After having some communication issues between the robot and the drive team, the team climbed the rankings, going from 30th place all the way up to 3rd place. After an extremely physical weekend, Lambda Corps ended the qualification round in 14th place (out of 36 teams) and entered the elimination round in the 7th seeded alliance.
The mechanical and electrical teams did an outstanding job in the pits, and the scouting team did a great job in the stands feeding information to the drive team for their upcoming matches. Based on the team’s performance at both competitions this season, Lambda Corps has qualified for the FIRST Chesapeake District Championship on April 6-8 at Eagle Bank Arena on the campus of George Mason University.

This was a really informative article. The robotics team doesn’t really get covered so this article is what they needed. Good job!
