When Christmas is near, people come together to decorate the inside, outside, the tree, or all of them in their house, nonetheless, the amount of decorations can range from very little to large in a matter of days depending on how much that individual or group wants to put up. The decorations themselves are also very unique as they could be small and circular like most ornaments or long and flexible like garlands.
“Christmas balls and lights, garlands, angel on the top, it’s more of a classic style,” are some things that Paul Whitley, a teacher at Osbourn High School puts on his tree. Christmas tree decorating is a common practice in December when getting ready for Christmas.
“When we have a Christmas tree, normally we only put string lights and ornaments, most of the time we would or would not put a star on,” said Cristian Aldana Medina.
There are many different ways to decorate for Christmas and none of them are incorrect, not only that but trees can be any size as none are incorrect either. “We usually put up a big and a small tree, but this year we just put a small pink tree on the kitchen island, which is where we are going to put our gifts. We did not put up a big tree this year because we will be in Aruba for the holiday,” explained Ms. Lisa Miller.
Decorations are not only restricted to decorating, you can even decorate your house either inside, outside, or both. “Inside my house, I put lights, miniature Christmas trees, and a tiny Santa that dances and sings, while outside of my house, I put a wreath, lights, and reindeer in the front yard,” said Jackson Doll.
“Usually we just really do the tree and some lights outside, but this year we didn’t do anything because we are going to be away for 12 days,” explained Miller.
“This year we put a blow-up Grinch, little signs, wreaths, stuff like that,” said Mr. Whitley.
Overall Christmas decorations can be placed anywhere and everywhere, your creativity is the only restriction to how you do it and how much you put up. What decorations do you love most? Tel us in the comments!
