Everyone has their idea of their ‘perfect future’. For most of us, it’s the idea of having money (or being rich), but many people don’t have a plan for how they will get that ‘money’. However, other scholars know that money doesn’t just turn up, and they have their own plans for how they’re going to get it. 

The easiest way to make money is to get a high-paying job. Many high-paying careers are high-paying because of the labor or knowledge needed to accomplish them. So, most high salary giving jobs and careers require a degree because they require more work and knowledge to be able to be successful in. So, to accomplish your dreams and earn your dream job, you may need to go back to school.

“I heavily aspire to go to college so I know my life will later be filled with success. After that, live a life of ease knowing I’m done with my studies,”  said senior Lenell Evans.

You can’t just get rich after high school overnight, you need a job. Unfortunately, some high paying careers may not be in your best interest. “In ten years I see myself working an office job, but I wish to be a nurse.” Fatima Meglar said, proving that some jobs will leave you miserable, but at least they pay well!

However, don’t let that be your attitude. It’s better to get a job you actually enjoy. After all, nothing is worth more than being happy.

Fortunately, there are a lot of desirable careers with a high salary. Not only money, but personal achievements as well.

“I want to be a judge so I can have a three-story mansion, because my family never had that before,” said Teysi Rivas.

Everyone has their own dreams, what is your dream and how will you accomplish it? “I want to make genuine money while living a good life with the support of my partner,” said Joel Campos Ventura, explaining that life is much more than money and working until you die.

Life is about love and the way humans connect with each other. Human connections are the foundation of personal dreams, goals, and achievements. Whether you want to believe it or not, the world runs on human relationships. Whether it’s romantic, platonic, or even by blood, everyone has someone they want to work for.

People might want to build a future for themselves because they want to see themselves grow, others want to be better for someone else. Either to help that other person become better themselves, or to make them proud.  “I want to pay off my parents’ debt because they do so much for me, and it’s the least I can do,” Lizbeth Hernandez explained, proving values vary and relationships do indeed impact the future someone may want for themselves.

Others have their own values, something their inner child wants to accomplish. Everyone has someone they want to work harder to be better for, even if it’s themselves. “My dream life is a stable lifestyle so I can feel comfortable and not have to worry,” said Guadulupe Alvarez .
